This place is nice of course. Went up there for the night. The rooms are all plush and the views are great. We stayed in a room with a balcony and left the windows open all night and could hear the beach, it was awesome. The staff was the usual, extremely helpful. The best part is that you can wake up in the morning and go for a walk down to the beach with a cup of coffee. Its very relaxing and the coffee is some of the best we ever had.

Walked to the beach at night, tanned by the pool and lounged around the room. Everything about this place is traditional, but it feels good. The Club floor has GREAT food served four times per day, and a wall filled with jars of candy- yes, unlimited access to a candy store about twenty feet away from your room! The staff is terrific- you basically don't know they are there, but somehow all your needs are met perfectly. THE place to go to get away- about 1 1/2 hours south of LA, so you will never bring yourself to go to a club... you'll stay by the pool where you belong.

Our time at the Ritz, Laguna Niguel was all that one would expect. The room was more than the on line photos depicted. In this photo of the sunset you can see Santa Catalina, it appears as the dark object on the horizon. The on site restaurant Raya was a real joy, especially at breakfast good food, the service excellent and spectacular view. What a way to start the day.
